Island Neurology was founded to give adults across Middletown and Newport, Rhode Island, access to high-quality neurologic care in a setting that feels personal, respectful, and efficient. Meet Dr. Keith Brecher
Dr. Keith Brecher has over twenty years of experience as a board-certified neurologist. He is a graduate of Union College and Albany Medical College and completed his neurology residency at the Boston University School of Medicine. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong reputation for providing compassionate, patient-centered care, with a focus on diagnosing and managing complex neurological conditions, including headache disorders, epilepsy, stroke, and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Brecher remains actively involved in continuing medical education and stays current with the latest advancements in neurology to provide the most effective, up-to-date treatments. He is committed to building lasting relationships with his patients by understanding their concerns and tailoring care to their individual needs.
